I remember when I was 12 and mused how good at drawing I was going to become by the time I grew up, and pictured my drawing style and how well I could handle a digital drawing program. I'm pretty happy with how well I've achieved my goal, though there is still a shitload of work for me to do to be anywhere near I need to be. My understanding of anatomy is as good as I could possibly get from 6-7 years of practice without formal art education and without having attended to still art sessions. I'm sure by the time I start art school next autumn I will have fixed those tricky perspective poses and different body shapes in realism too. 

So I guess it's time for me to put a new long term goal for me to achieve. 

How about being able to correctly draw a background in perspective, being able to draw detailed machinery, detailed backgrounds in general and a near perfect understanding of lighting and texture by the time I reach 25? 

That shouldn't be too hard.
